Twin fawns by ѕhadowdancer

Twin fawns

These are the twins mentioned in the last deer photo... I've never been able to get a good shot of them, but was just glad to get one at all while they still had their spots...! :) This was the first day I realized that Mama doe had twins, in early September, and also the first time I'd ever seen twin fawns in "real life"! It was so cool.

Mama, of course, was nearby. She brings them around quite often, I'm just not usually home to see it :(

....maybe if I play dead, they'll all go away... by ѕhadowdancer

....maybe if I play dead, they'll all go away...

Five-month old red panda cub, Rohan, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Rohan was born at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and is residing with his new friend Mei Mei here in Cleveland. Both had to be hand-raised and are learning how to be red pandas together, since neither were raised with their littermates.

Thank you so much again for the ID, Paula :)

Babies!! by ѕhadowdancer

Babies!!

The Cleveland Zoo's almost-five-month old red panda triplets and their same-age new friend from the National Zoo, Rohan, were all active in their various enclosures today.. :) This photo is in order: mom Ruth, Pang Pang, and Xaio. Rohan and little Mei Mei were in the indoor enclosure, happily snoozing away.

They are growing entirely too fast but it was wonderful to finally get to see them all. They are just too adorable!

Thank you, Paula for IDing these sweeties!
