We ended our family vacation by driving from Crescent City up to Crater Lake. After many, many (many!) bathroom stops for the kids, we arrived at Crater Lake in time for sunset. Jamie was nice enough to let me snowshoe off and shoot while she stayed by the lodge and played with the kids.
It was a beautiful sunset, and a wonderful place. I'm sure that I'll have to make the trip back again many more times.

Nice, very nice!!!! In Colorado we have more mtns, but in the Pacific NW you have such distinctive mtns and scenes such as Rainier, Baker, St.Helena, Hood, Crater Lake, and the beautiful coastline.
