Tufa Sunrise Silhouette
The purist in me is ashamed.
Well, not really, but I like starting my description with a bold statement. Dawn at Mono Lake this day was cloud free. That's right -- not a cloud in the sky. The clouds in this image come from two states east of Caleeforneea -- a New Mexico sunset shot 15 months earlier. The sun though, was at approximately the same location on the horizon in that shot, too. This will just have to tide me over until I can do it the right way and capture a Mono Lake sunrise with authentic California clouds. CommentsSheldonBranford

Nice combination of two shots. If you had not told us, it would not be readily apparant. Well done.
