the purplest sweet potato I've ever seen and gonna eat for dinner. fact: china grows 100+ variants of sweet potato
there are three american embassies in Beijing so it's hard to miss displays after displays of Halloween stuff in the foreign stores. while shopping for groceries i ended up buying this though we don't celebrate it! but I'm sure he'll look cute in this!

read list update: I'm finally done with Ayaan Hirsi Ali's Infidel and Nomad. Took me a whole month! that is what happens when you're babysitting a 2m old (then, E will be 3m this Friday!) and trying to read and absorb at the same time. back to the book. s
