2011 NUC Christmas Tree 9

    The 2011 Gleeson Library Christmas tree was constructed from 700 books (primarily from the National Union Catalog). The tree is about nine feet nine inches tall and weights in at about 3,750 lbs.

      You have outdone yourselves! I love the candy canes and popcorn string - I'm just glad I'm not on the re-shelving team.

      Getting better at this every year.... for the first time the books were stacked in call number order. And we moved the NUC shelving area to the first floor. So reshelving is not as much effort as it used to be.
