I feel that the other version is really good,
but this one is really outstanding. I think
the curvy blue shadow on the right was a
little distracting in the color version. In
this version the subject really jumps out at
you and just tugs at the heart-strings.
It is what it is btezra, don't you think?
After all that writing, I'm surprised you
added it as a favorite, lol. It's cool
though, thanks for the advice.
Photographs are like a birthing experience.
Once it's born, I like to move on, appreciate
it, and watch it grow. ; )
very strong composition... once again, the
title makes this picture even stronger. you
seem to be very good at seeing through
anothers eyes. great job!
aboot thanks much for the cool comoliment. Thanks Fodd. Yes, b&w seems to be timeless Paintme thanks evilcabeza. subgeo i certainly appreciate you likin' this
picture, so cool.
I was wondering if it would be ok to use this
photo on my flickr account and then link the
original back to you to give you credit.
Sometimes when I upload photos and videos I
leave tidbits. Being an educator, and working
with inner city children (although I am not
sure if the boy in your pic is from a city of
not) I know that our gov't system spends 9x's
MORE on the prison system than the urban
poverty school system.
Also, when I see this picture I think of the
ridiculously high number of mislabeled Black
boys in school. Most of the time, I have
found nothing wrong with these boys, simply
only a culture clash.
So, would it be ok to borrow the photo to
make a comment about that?
