clothes drying on the line

We were more excited by the fact that we have a clothesline than most people would have been. A brand-new dryer? That's nice. A yard with a clothesline? Yes!

What a fantastic backyard. Have you washed towels and sheets yet? That's the best! Toasty stiff towels that you fluff up in the dryer. The smell is out of this world. You gotta go to Daiso and buy those cute clothespins with the loops. Wait, do not go! I'll get them for you. Wait, go anyway. It is such a fun shop! :)

Ooh, clothespins! I'm so geeky excited about this all. I'm waiting for towels and sheets until Monday, when Danny can be around. His mom dried clothes in the backyard of their home, and that smell is what he talks about most.

Just wait until you start a compost pile. You'll need a pitchfork. Then you'll go to the pitchfork store (hardware), and stand there, laughing, while you discover the merits of pitchforks... 4-tine vs 6-tine?, flat-tine vs. round? Amazing the things you can get excited about.

      Leedav,

so do I! It actually has a drawing of a pie beneath it, so it's cutie pie. It's so dorky that I couldn't resist.

      Tea,

Thank you, my dear. We adore you. And I'm so happy to be adored for my dorkiness, because I have plenty of it!

      Kayakeverywhere,

I can only imagine the thrilling adventures that lie before us. A pitchfork? Oh yeah.
