Asian pears are in season

Andy and Dana have a huge, sprawling tree (actually, I think it's two trees melded into one) just outside their front door.

Yesterday, when we went over, we found the trees laden with fruits.

On the way home, Lu ate her first whole fruit. She sat and chewed in her car seat, gathering small bites with her teeth.
