Singed!
My favourite shot from the Plano Balloon Festival (see set). We'd all gone on the second day, arrived around noon. We waited and waited until after 5PM before any action even happened. Then a couple hours of waiting and a couple balloons later, it was announced that due to high winds no more ballooons would take off. It was starting to get dark, and most people left. As we were about to leave as well, we saw this balloon being filled and we rushed near it. The long wait was well worth it, it gave me this picture! I took this shot lying down in a completely prone position below and just a few feet away from the balloon, looking up, as I felt the heat from the burners.
