Introducing Olive

Call me crazy, but I've taken in a stray. I am a cat person. I love cats. I was with my old girls for a long long while (13-14 years) so being without a cat in the house this year has been sad. I find them to be comforting. And the last week or so I've found myself poking around on petfinder.com, looking for kitties in need of homes. Even left a couple of voicemails, but never heard anything in return. Around that same time this little stray adopted us. She was sleeping on our front steps, trying to get in the door, rubbing against our legs as we made our way to the car. So I started feeding her. And then...I finally took her in yesterday. She's confined to the bathroom for the time being, until I can get her checked out at the vet's Monday. But just what I need right now, with my house of chaos, eh?

The little man will be so surprised when he gets home.

p.s. I had a much better shot than this one, it was perfect, and I somehow managed to delete it. New rule: no culling from the camera before coffee.
