An "ancient 35-105?" How ancient could that lens be? Canon's autofocus line has only been around since the late 1980s. I have several cameras older than that.
Glad you didn't just lay there and made this lovely shot, however.

Nice shot. These days I feel naked without shooting raw and farting around processing. But it's liberating to just shoot a normal JPEG and post.

One great source of inspiration..the sky. I can't help but wonder..how many other photos captured this same moment in the sky? Probably not many. I really like the fact that I've seen this tree before in your work it gives it a quality of...my brain can't pull up the words..you know what I mean.
