Volcano

Montserrat blowing her top.
We are sailing from Antigua to Guadeloupe. Montserrat is 20 miles to the West. Even at this distance you can see quite rapid change in the plume, it must be moving really fast.
On the mountainside below the plume, you can see the devastation from previous erruptions. The capital was wiped out years ago, they had to move to a different part of the island.
