Schooner

    The schooner Eleonora zooming past.
    She’s a modern reproduction of a classic America’s Cup yacht from 1910.
    I had a look around her in Siracusa a few years ago. Very beautiful on the outside, really tacky inside.
    All that sail and her great length make her much faster than us. She’s in a different class so we started earlier, she catches us up on the second lap ..... though we could well have beaten her anyway ;-)

      I have seen her twice in Saint-Tropez and made some Pictures (to be seen on flickr). Wonderful boat!
