St. Nicolaas Kerk next to the old Centraal Station is one of the last remaining Catholic churches in Amsterdam. Almost all the Catholic churches in Amsterdam were converted to Protestant resulting in their decorations and remarkable beauty to be stripped and covered with white paint. I would say this is easily one of the most impressive churches I’ve visited next to the Duomo in Milan. Words can’t really describe the feeling you get when you enter a place like this so I’ll humbly end any type of rambling description!
