As my friends will tell you, I've been playing guitar a lot longer than shooting pictures - 13 years. This is a shot inside my Marshall 1969 Super Lead amp looking at the vacuum tubes. What are vacuum tubes? Well, they came before the transistor revolution! Look them up on google you science lovers!
The blue glow is free electrons bouncing off the glass of the vacuum tube.

The inside of every live tube amp is like miniature set from a science fiction movie.
