Beloved Woman of Justice

Beloved Woman of Justice by shaneandruth.
The Beloved Woman of Justice, a sculpture by Audrey Flack. Located in the plaza of the Howard Baker Jr. Federal Courthouse in Knoxville. There is a great article about this sculpture on the artists' web site at http://www.audreyflack.com/AF/article03.html. It is one of my favorite pieces of public art in the city or anywhere.

A beautiful shot of a beautiful sculpture.

The sculpture captures her hair very nicely--something that, in my opinion, can be quite a challenge for the sculptor.

Thanks for the comments and the fave, Fort. I love this sculpture downtown (as you can probably guess by the number of shots of it in my photostream). I'm glad you liked it, too.
