Liesje's photostream  

After a hectic and troublesome year in which photography has not been on my priority list I have decided to take up my old hobby again.
So today I have upgraded my Flickr account again! And I am inviting everyone to come over to my stream again and have a hot chocolate with wipped cream to celebrate ;-)

This cute pup is owned by one of my colleagues. It was great fun to take photo's of her, she is such a lovely dog.
I alway shoot in sRGB mode and the photo's look fine on my computer. But when i upload them to the internet they seem a bit bleak. Strange ...

After work I went to the beach with Mirjam and our mum to have a look at the waves, as a storm is blowing over Holland.
On our way there we saw a trauma helicopter, an ambulance, and a car from a television station. When we got to the beach there was a lot of activity on the river, so I took a few shots.
More and more boats where gathering in the river, there was a helicopter flying over the ships, and a plane from the coastguard flying overhead.
It turned out that a tug had capsized about half an hour earlier, when the tug was towing the Stena Line ferry up the river.
3 persons have so far been rescued, two are still missing...
