I thought I saw something on that shark's tale. As for the numbers, GPS is such a cute idea. I also like the theory that this whole thing happened to them because of the Red Sox.

Like an idiot, rather than trying to discover secret clues and magical treats, I keep rewinding my dvr to listen to that Carpenters jam and watch Kate crawl through the ductwork.

Also, I'm going to agree with Jenn that I am indeed a genius because not only did I figure this out, I also told Shannon WEEKS ago that there was a major magnetic source on The Island. This hasn't actually been proven...yet.

Yeah, I recognized it as being from the i ching, but I haven't "studied" it or anything. And that design isn't just a mirror design, it's pretty common, like the yin/yang symbol. (It just happens to decorate that mirror.)

Also, as far as the coordinates already being "discovered" or whatever, I'm sorry to say I'm not a LOST fan-board addict. I only *just* discovered the little forums recently, and haven't seen this referenced yet. The whole "I said this first" argument is uber lame. I also have a difficult time reading those forums without my eyes rolling back in my head.

It's not exactly "just" a feng shui design. It's a bagua, a representation of the fundamental philosophical concept behind most ancient Chinese schools of thought. Among other things, it was influential in Chinese navigation.
