The lighting in this one (as opposed to the previous image) is much better, thanks to Joe McNally. Joe personally helped me out after the Austin Flash Bus seminar. If you know anything about Joe (National Geographic, Life, Sport Illustrated photographer), you know it's quite an honor to get his input on a photo. Not only did he give me input though, he actually held one of the flashes, which means I can say "Joe McNally was my assistant on this shoot." Lighting: Canon 430 EX II (flash) shot through a white 43" umbrella above the model and slightly to camera left for key. Gel'd with a 1/4 CTO. Canon 580 EX II (another flash) shot into a LumiQuest Softbox III direcly below the key light for a touch of fill.
