Temporary Ranger Station at the Memorial. The US Parks Service plans to move the memorial to another near-by location. A new monument has been designed, however, I don't think that it will have the same impact as the current site. There is something about the visitors being moved to leave something behind or to add their own monument to the site that is truly touching.

The US Flag in the distance marks the main crash site. No one is allowed near the wreckage scene, it is sreened by chain-link fencing.

One of the nicest private memorials at the site. I doubt that any American will ever forget 9-11, even though we have a lot of politicians who seem to be trying to do just that!
