Color Wars

    So I know I've taken quite a break from flickr, but I just returned from my 4th Phoot Camp and spending a few days in the woods at summer camp with 34 other photographers was the epic creative jolt I needed to get shooting (and more importantly, editing & posting) again.

    The idea for this image was loosely inspired by the American summer camp tradition of "color wars". To get a really good idea of what that is, I suggest you give a listen to the incredible episode of This American Life entitled "Notes on Camp". You can stream it for free here.
