Five seconds of long exposure goodness. The Pipiwai Trail is one of my favorite hikes, and this reward at the end is so worth it.

Actually my plan was to do a shot like this closer to the shoreline, so it would just be blue on blue of ocean and sky. But this’ll do.

They don’t get me down, at least not while on vacation. It rained on Monday when we were on Maui — but even a rainy day in Hawaii is a perfect day. Sure, we could have drove to another part of the island where it was sunny and dry, but we enjoyed kicking back and relaxing to the sight and sound of tropical showers.
