gravel 6.jpg![]() SFist reader Captain Disco sends along the following observations, regarding evidence that Mike Gravel shot his artsy campaign ads at Spreckels Lake in GGP:
* Navy Blue Arrows: these point out the similarities on the unique tree in the background. The arrow on the left shows the branch with a kink in it and the arrow on the right shows the the branch that slopes up and to the right. Both of these distinctive branches match. * Flourescent Green Arrows: these point out the trees to the right of the distinctive tree. They’re in the right place. * Brown Circle: this circle highlights the way background of the view where you can see past the bushes across Fulton Street to the houses on the other side of the street. You can see that the bushes slope down to the right to create an opening. * Orange Arrow: this shows the break in the background tree line matches. * Light Blue Arrow: this points out where the path protrudes out into the lake as it winds past the distinctive tree. * Red Arrow: this indicates the bench in both pictures though it’s harder to see in the youtube screen cap. * Pink Arrow: this points out a green set of poles sticking out of the ground surrounded by light colored ground. * Yellow Arrow: this indicates the tree that you can see on the far right of the youtube frame. * Green Circle: in both the youtube screen cap and my picture you can see that the dirt on the edge of the path is darker than the path to the left and the grass to the right. It’s also the right shape. * Gray Arrow: look, I even got a guy to stand in the same place as Gravel did!
