I hope you called the fire brigade BEFORE taking this shot.

But even more, I hope you set the fires yourself. You can't beat a bit of arson, and you're an expert.

Lovely rendering of the Dallas book repository from where Lee Harvey Oswald shot his fateful bolt.

Kennedy inspired Clinton, and look where his administration left us in the 1990's.

Awesome! I like every bit of this photo! What I was wondering, are the colors of the reflections changed/enhanced/added with photoshop or so?

SF buckaroo  Pro User  says:

thanks everybody for your comments.

@infomaniac, I adjusted the "shadow" "color temperature" "highlight" and "fill light" in picasa, using their just-released RAW file support (it allows a lot more variation of hue than when working with jpegs). this caused the colors of the windows to pop out more, basically through saturation and contrast adjustments, but that's all. the variation in color is a combination of reflections and of course the flourescent lights, which the white balance on the camera incorrectly read as yellow/ gold.

Thank you for your explanations, Buckaroo!
I really think, it's amazing what Picasa can do. I use it mostly for cropping and some minor other touches. I specially like the 'Filtered B&W' function, it's so easy and still so powerful! :-)
I recently started shooting in raw and Picasa also can read Minolta raw files since the update. I tried it, but I prefer Pixmantec's RawShooter Essentials which is also freeware. It gives you much more control over everything, and you still can add the final touches in Picasa :-)

SF buckaroo  Pro User  says:

yes, I do the same with raw files usually-- edit in another program (right now it's photoshop cs)-- and do the final touches in picasa, including cropping. the filtered b&w is also a favorite of mine.
