The Red Door
I came upon this attractive matching red door and wrought iron fence in the beautiful Irish town of Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. The town is a wonderful place to visit, with pretty Georgian houses, historic sites (Croagh Patrick), lovely gardens, and a great pub owned by one of The Chieftains (Matt Malloy) where the best of Celtic traditional music is the fare.

Wow! this just blows me away................how wonderful the vivid colours of red against the ivy-clad walls and the little yellow flowers beneath. The railings add a lovely prespective to an already beautiful image.
