Notes:

Cast on 10/2 (after a battle with winding the yarn - a total of about 4 hours, if you want to be specific). I love the pattern - it's been breezy so far (knock on wood) and the yarn feels nice through my fingers! What more can you ask for?

Completed knitting 11/6, and blocked that night. It's not perfect - the edging does not line up with the yos the way it should, but it's still lovely and the regular Joe on the street will not know how it's supposed to look anyway.

I'm pleased with the end result and I hope my mom will, too!
