There were alot of reds this year - I wonder if there were a number of duds due to rain and humidity. The Macy's barges were docked in Stapleton on Staten Island for about a week prior to the fourth.
I was watching from Staten Island - and I think I actually remember this specific red display going off because it was lower than the other synchronized fireworks going off along the East River.
Great Capture - clear and detailed.
