They strapped the Concorde onto the barge at Bristol Docks in the UK, towed it out into the Bristol Channel fired up the motors and 12 hours later there she was parked alongside all the rest of that wonderful stuff in NY harbour. The salt apray is not going to do that beautiful lady a lot of good - she should still be steaming across the pond at Mach 2. Darn bean counters!!!

You will be pleased to hear that we now have a most credible team of former Concorde professionals in the UK whose most laudable objective is to return a single Concorde to flight, there's a nominal membership fee to join the group which must be worth every last penny.
