Months ago, I put on my blog (on the right column) a fixed link to this whole ABANDONED HOMES collection, that I still think among the 2 or 3 best on flickr.
Pure rural beauty, inducing the desire to go to live into one of these dreamy, neoclassical places. Palladian houses in wood.

@zio fabio, thanks for the link and your kind words! Finding old abandoned places with character is one of goals as I travel around my part of the world. Like you I find beauty within these places and if only their walls could talk the interesting things we would learn.
