allow me to share a bit of Judeo-Christian
History with you.... In the earlest days of the Faith, way back
n stuff ...it was unacceptable by the
"rulers" to gather & share ones
Faith in this Jesus of Nazereth,.... no
churches , prayer meetings etc...etc..were
allowed. But persacution & such could not
stop the belivers from gathering to share the
good news of the gospel ,as they say....A
simple symbal placed on ones home was a sign
to other belivers aware of its meaning, (I
have several Faith based Tattoos decorating
my tempal of the lord ,no "Fish"
...yet)....the "fish" was used to
highlight the "feeding of
5000..."{~AMEN N STUFF~} -I wonder
if the "Year Of The" timeline you
spoke of might match...HMMMMM . theres
subject matter for reserch ,if you got info
on that let me know , kinda' curious.
as to its other uses ,astroligical, that is
yet another belife system.....
The fish has been an important Christian
symbol, not only because of the fact that
Jesus included several fishermen in his close
circle, but also because the initial letters
of each word in the Greek phrase "Jesus
Christ, Son of God, Savior" form the
word ICHTHUS, which means "fish."
thanks for the added insight....it seems the
guy that made some sort of nasty comment
twards this design &/or Christianity that
led to my previous comment delited his
comment...skeered of the gospel I guess. be safe my friend & God bless...~AMEN N
