I saw this photo and I immediately thought it was an ideal candidate for tone mapping. The remapped color version was good, but the black and white version was better. The results were quite satisfactory, save the posterization in the sky. Alaska skies always posterize on me.
Lenticular clouds usually indicate very high winds, and forthcoming rough weather. "Rough" is a gentle term to describe the weather on this mountain.

It's very nice. It seems it invites you to a challenge to climbe. I like that thin clouds on the mountains after wet, windy and cold weather in hight altitude.
