Dive!

Set up my portable bird hide just a few yards from where this Kingfisher (usually) perches. Sat and waited and when it arrives it decides that today he would try the other end of the pool!
Alas only a couple of worthwhile shots.

Bala

A stormy day over the Welsh town of Bala. I've cropped out the bottom portion because of the horrendous looking business units that completely spoil the view of the town!
Anyway Bala despite the best effort of the local town planners is a great place to photograph at the right time of year.

The Miner

This is my interpretation of the Mner. It's a memorial to the men who lost there lives at the Kents lane Colliery at Silverdale, Staffordshire.
My wife's father's name is on the plaque below.
