Just visible beneath the eye, the foreshortened forelimb of the Nymphalidae family. Turning its head toward the same side whilst swiping the forelimb front to back is reminesecnt of cats cleaning their face and ears.

Looper Caterpillar

Geometridae caterpillars appear to "measure the earth" as they move in a looping fashion, hence the names loopers. In this instance, this interloper is measuring Stachytarpheta in the Butterfly Pavilion.
