    a menacing presence.

[edit 05.03.2010] news from ben, raimund abraham died today in a car crash in LA. it seems to me that younger, related talents have been spoiled by commercial ambition - think of what became of libeskind, think of what became of everyone during the last boom - but here was a man seemingly without compromise. must have been a real pain...but clearly, that is to be prefered.

Hi Seier; about that rural House R. Abraham built in Mexico for himself, I would love to see and know. I live in Mexico city, and I am sure -no matter in what part of Mexico this House is- I could find and reach place if I only had some adress, if that is not the case at least some reference about the state and nearest town.Any Idea?
I first got to know about his work and person while I was in NYC studing Architecture at Pratt. Then I visited of course the Austrian Cultural Center.

here is what I could find, a quote:

...the Oaxacan Coast, where he built the rustic house Austrian architect Wolf Prix cannily described as “a Tyrolean farm shed transplanted to Mexico.”
