Lothlorien, Mirkwood and Emyn Muil Dead Marshes Henneth Annun and Shelob's Lair Bara-dur and Mount Doom with Safe Passage (costing you 75) in between. Brandywine River Highwayman "Tax" Wood Hall and Bag End with a Treasure Barrow Card replacing A Treasure Chest Card. Khazad-dum replaces Jail Celebdil, Methedras and Caradhras with candlewax replacing electric Fangorn Forest, Orthanc and Rohan Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul and Osgiliath with Waterworks between Entwash River Silverlode River Anduin River Pippin's Folly, where he bumps the helmet into the well, alerting the orcs. Safe Campsite This here is a new thing I created. It's a trail where you can bypass Mount Doom, but the catch is you have to land on shelob's lair to use it, you get no money for passing go, and if you land on the spider, it costs you 100 gold to heal from the poison. ![]() ![]() Last christmas I wanted to get my brother a Lord of the Rings version of monopoly, but I didn't like the commercial version with the faces plastered on it and such... so I made my own, with a twist.

Just the board here without the cards and such but I've added a whole pack of notes to show you the names of the places on the board. Railroads have become rivers, utilities have changed to things more ancient, Chance has become the Palantir and Treasure Chest has become Treasure Barrows. Coins instead of bills and no ones any more - we round up to the nearest 5, the copper colored coin. Click here to see the game set up with the pieces. Click here to see a close up. Edit - I'm making another one! You can follow the pictures starting here. Each time I've got some worthy pictures and details, I'll post more and link them together. Thanks for all the interest!
