Hello all! I just wanted to let you all know that I have started a blog for The Gentleman Crafter. I invite you to come visit the blog and become a follower.

I was challenged recently, to submit a robot that I made for a paper crafting group that I’m a member of. It was a pretty big deal. Everyone loved it. The challenge was to use only Tim Holtz branded merchandise to design and produce a robot.

Yes, I know most of you have no idea who Tim Holtz is. Tim Holtz is the Creative Director for Ranger Industries, one of the leading manufacturers of innovative inks, paints, and embossing products. Tim plays an integral part in the development and design of cutting edge paper crafting products. Tim has teamed up with various key companies like Ranger, Advantus, Tonic Studios, Sizzix, and Stampers Anonymous to bring unique products that work hand in hand with Ranger’s extensive lines.

I then sent an email to Tim Holtz sharing my challenge and pictures of my robot. Today, he replied with the following:

Hey Jim. I'm totally blown away by this. Amazing man!
I would love to feature this in my blog and link them to yours. Do you have a blog? Very talented and clever use of my stuff it’s really outstanding. Let me know and thanks so much for sharing.

Needless to say, I never had a blog in my life and I came running home to start out on the adventure! Hahah. So, I hope you will visit my blog and become a follower. That way my blog site wont be so naked when Tim shows up! :) Tell your friends and acquaintances. I would so appreciate it!
