You know what, why people like this image remains an absolute mystery to me. If it were not for Flickr, I would not have posted it anywhere. This was inside by reject bin until i thought what the hell - and voila it got into Explore.. what a weird weird world....!

Perhaps its all those different colors. It's rather an unexpected image, ingenuous, sweet with a spontaneous feel -- a bit of eye candy, I suppose -- except those spreading, grasping, slightly sinister vines on the wall add a bit of relief from the smooth riot of color, giving a hint of something less innocent, or suggesting something a little more complicated. It's a kind of counterpoint. And that makes it more interesting to me.
I'm often surprised at what people like -- or what they completely ignore. Sometimes I'll sulk for days because something I've posted is a complete flop.
