Q was happy to help me practice some studio portraiture using SB900 flash units and shoot through umbrellas. L is much nicer.

I'm a little late adding it to the 52 weeks group but this is for the theme, "shooting something you don't normally do." Since I sold my studio lights, I haven't tried formal portraits with flash and I was also trying to get a full body shot of Q standing up. Those are my "usually don't do" items for this shot. :)

I wasn't sure if I wanted to do another 52 weeks project but since I am trying to improve my pet photography, I figured Q wouldn't mind helping me. :) For those who haven't met Q yet, he is my indoor boy kitty with lots of personality. ;)
