It's only fair, since I've highlighted Cuteness goofing off a few times, that I also show him hard at work. Here he is in his cabin in Falcon Forest, working on the security system I've commissioned. Or else he's playing a very strange game of chess...can't be sure.

Running a business in Second Life can turn this social networking system into a full-blown job at times. Fortunately, my estate runs pretty smoothly these days, so it doesn't require constant oversight. It's still best to keep an eye on things and make sure the work doesn't build up into a huge pile, though.

This is me hovering over a parcel in Sedary Sea on an early Tuesday morning, in IMs, discussing security options with the Native who lives here. After struggling yet again to explain how to set up a complicated commercial security orb, I have asked Cuteness (yes, the lazy purple mouse) to develop a simplified security device for use in the estate. My hope is that having a system I can modify and distribute for free will save me time and hassle in the future. I may even stop teasing Cuteness. ^^
