Orange in Arabic

Orange in Arabic by Moey™.
** THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL LOGO **
I was missing around with Photoshop, and came out with this brilliant idea, since France Telecom is starting with Jordan as the first Arabic country to re-brand.

nice attempt, but watch out the x height and ascenders of the letters, maybe the 2 "alefs" looks a bit longer..

this is not a critic, it was a normal comment ;)

if you can get FARAH font, it will be nice ;)
FARAH is the official Arabic font for Orange, it's so simple (you can see it in the Arabic ADs)

but again, no Arabic naming is allowed according to Orange guidelines :)

can you show us the official logo of Orange that using Farah font as an official typeface.. because in my mind there is one vision for Farah font.. and it is not related in any case to the style of Orange company, and to any serious company either..

or you just kidding us?

I said its the official arabic font, that doesnt mean being used in Orange logo cause renaming Orange in arabic is not allowed (according to Orange guidelines as i mentioned earlier) Orange logo is the same worldwide.

Farah font is being used in all Orange arabic advertisements, check orange[dot]jo website for some arabic ads

ok, i see now, i've seen their ads many times.. and i know that their arabic type is one of grapheast/murad boutros fonts.. today i realize the font name:

www.glyphfonts.com/font_far.html

but the name Farah meant to me the famous postscript font of Diwan .. and really that one is totally different..

www.diwan.com/english/images/fonts.gif

wondering why they choose Farah to name their font?!

rain-drop, moey, sorry for any inconvenience..
