Riomaggiore

Large on black

Riomaggiore is one of the 5 little coastal villages of Cinque Terre national park in northern Italy. The park has a marine protected area and many trails in the mountains, nice places for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, mountain hiking and biking.

There's a lot of vineyards in the area so it's a fun place for wine. One of the nicest things is a walking path on the cliffs along the water that connects the five villages (9km from the first to the last). Anyone that goes there with a camera will feel like a kid in a candy store!

@luzer: this one isn't from one RAW; it's 3 shots 3xp but there are many in my stream tagged with hdr single raw.

For a single raw hdr I cast 3 exposures (0, +1ev, -1ev) to jpeg from the RAW and then just process them as I would a standard hdr with photomatix. It doesn't enhance the level (maybe just a bit) of detail like and hdr from multiple shots but really enhances tones and colors, and can let you get rid of some minor overexposure.
