This is a doghouse I built back in 1996. The final house lasted close to a decade and through two houses before we sold it on craigslist. It featured stud-based construction with R-11 insulation, double-paned plexiglass windows (non-operable), a cedar shake roof, carpeted flooring, and an overall design that came apart into four pieces (roof, two wall units, and the floor) for "ease" of transportation and assembly.
