Tube & Field Study

Tube & Field Study by Matthew Wahl™.
The electromagnetic field surrounding the power lines is enough to make fluorescent tubes glow. It should be known that Richard Box did it first. But when we heard about it, we had to try it ourselves. Art directed by Jeff "VisualNinja" Martin (off-center in yellow attire).

Dre -- it is a little. It could be that the moist ground is hindering it. Apparently the dryer the air the better this works. Wherever you touch the tubes it also gets much brighter around your hand.

Keep in mind this is a slow exposure (20 seconds). To the eye they aren't quite that bright.
