  • You're holding it very high. Is that how the kids play nowadays? I remember mostly holding my Gameboy of '91closer to my lap, enabling great rest for my arms. Wouldn't make a good pic though :P - Björn Söderqvist
  • I hear ya, but it's the only way I'd be able to reach it with my third arm, which gives me a good deal of pain in my other two arms. ;( Great workout though!
  • That is a good side effect. Had I used your technique back in the days, my arms might not have been as slim as they are today! - Björn Söderqvist

Intense multi-task DS playing

Thoughts and comment appreciated. :)

I've always wanted to do a picture where there's an arm or leg/limb stickin' out my mouth, and I was browsing through some DS games on the net when I thought "hey, why not do this?", so I charged the camera batteries and went straight to work.

Remember, if you're using Firefox on a Mac, the colors will look washed out and pale, and the contrast weak, so I recommend viewing this in Safari.

Camera: Nikon D80 w/ SB-600 external flash
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/4.2
Focal Length: 31 mm

Software used: Photoshop CS3 for pasting the arm and adjusting it so it looks like its exiting my mouth "realistically", then I used Lightroom to fiddle around with various exposure settings like Highlights & Settings, then I adjusted the colors and exported it back to Photoshop CS3 for the last few touch ups like lazy edges and what not.
