a Larch in the fall

    I was always amazed that a member of the Pine family could be deciduous. I love these trees!

      Other conifers are deciduous, too, e.g. Taxodium...which actually loses the branchlets to which its leaves are attached...

      Thankyou, I didn't know about that one. I used to admire a Metasequoia at my old University...but this one is new to me. =) It's nice that it changes color with the rest of the trees...
