she feels like giving up. throwing down the gauntlet, and leaving town.

leaving the hurt and despair behind, someplace where it could never find her again. she remembered their reaction when she told them she was going away. the jeers still echo in the hollow caves of her emotion. she would be hard pressed to forget something like that.

but her mind was made up. she was leaving town. and heading towards salvation.
