dry ingredients 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 cup whole-wheat flour 1.5 teaspoon baking soda 0.5 teaspoon salt wet ingredients 2 eggs ~4 ripe or over-ripe bananas (red bananas used here) 1 stick melted butter add-ins 1 cup fresh cranberries (or raisins, or chopped nuts, or both) mix dry ingredients. add wet ingredients and mix again. gently fold in any add-in type stuff - berries, nuts, etc. pour into a 9x5 breadpan and bake for 75 minutes at 325 degrees, until a knife inserted into the loaf slides out cleanly. out of the oven, cool pan sideways for ~10 minutes and then remove from pan. serve warm with butter and coffee or tea! copyright © 2006 sean dreilinger Commentssean dreilinger
