Johnny Rzeznik, lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls & dear friend of the bride & groom, performed a lovely acoustic set at the couple's west coast wedding reception. I had one of the best seats in the house, front & center.

Gotta give Ted credit for putting up with 3 women for a wk in our Californian house rental. He had to endure many hrs of shopping & other girlie-type stuff. On this particular day, we visited the Myers family in Manhattan Beach where Ted enjoyed some quality guy-time...tossing the football, playing volleyball. The weather? I could get used to it even after our mild winter in Toronto.

Attending EMI's post-Grammy party at the legendary Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood. Don Was, Rolling Stones producer & newly appointed President of Blue Note Records [my dream!], asked me "is this the line for the food truck?". Ummm, yessir. Fun fact: formerly of the 80s band Was (Not Was)...remember the track "Walk The Dinosaur"?

Oh, and other celeb sightings: Paris Hilton, Corinne Bailey Rae, & Slash. I heard the Beach Boys were there, but I didn't run into them. Boo!
