On my pictures of NOLA, the water lines look like the film didn't get developed right, and they your eye adjusts and you realize that the houses were under 5 feet of water for 3 weeks. The damage is catastrophic!

Someday cameras will have integrated GPS and you'll be able to click on a link to find out where the picture was taken.

Camera phones with integrated GPS have been available in Japan for several years and store the GPS location in the EXIF data in JPGs if you desire.
