      Would that it were so.

      Unfortunately, our long national (global?) nightmare is just getting revved up. And it's nothing so trivial as to be deactivated by the mere departure of Yet Another Bad Guy from the rollicking parody we euphemistically refer to as a "government."

      Of course, viewed from a broader perspective, we're all Bad Guys -- at least, those of us who diddle while Rome burns, flickring, googling, facebooking, blogging, and twittering the days and nights away....

      Turn off, tune out, drop in.
